Culdesac is a post-car real estate developer creating the first car-free neighborhood built from scratch in the U.S. Backed by Y Combinator (S18), Khosla Ventures, and Initialized Capital, the team is rethinking how cities are built from the ground up.

As one of five engineers, I designed and implemented a suite of web technologies to support both internal operations and resident-facing experiences. This included products like property management dashboards, marketing sites, and resident experience web applications developed end-to-end in collaboration with product and design. Our stack spanned React, GraphQL, and Django, with a focus on performance and usability.

One of my favorite initiatives was leading a full landing page revamp — from Figma design to final launch. I acted as a product lead, coordinating across design, operations, engineering, and leadership. The result was a more modular, performant site that improved clarity and reduced engineering complexity by 18%. It leveraged a third-party 360° virtual photo viewer, improving load times by 150% and enabling non-engineers to manage content independently.
